I think you mainly wanted to use imagery rather than the details, so there's 'mistakes' I noticed that can be forgiven for that. I was a bit disheartened to see that you put the most focus on the Axis powers rather than giving a more balanced view. Overall, it was a good effort and obviously meant a lot for you to make.

I think your extensive use of large tweens and filters is what made this animation computer-rapingly slow (at least for me). I think maybe you should look into optimizing your flashes better.

It wasn't overly complicated or difficult and the amount of keys did become a bit silly but nevertheless it was enjoyable and had a pretty creepy atmosphere, I especially liked the bleak ending.
